Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Some are hi-res characters and clothing for G8 and G3 models, some are simple objects such as vehicles. I'm hoping this will be a fairly exhaustive look at both free and premium models available for Star Wars fans.

Description
Developed after the comparatively anemic performance of the Nerf-Class Republic Troop Transport and Manka-Class Armored Personal Carrier against combat-centric Sith Walkers. The Bolraida-Class packs a pair of heavy-duty forward facing blaster cannons that are commonly laced with ion particles. These cannons sacrifice range for the sake of concussive power and are equally effective against soft and hard targets at close-to-midrange. These cannons can be swapped out for several variants that match its Sith counterpart's range while doing its best to preserve punching power. To the rear of the cabin is a remote operated anti-aircraft blaster that acts as a deterrent against low flying attacks by starfighters or airspeeders.
The Boldraida's production was ramped up midway through the GGW and was initially wasted on several tactically inept commanders in hotzones like Balmorra. As a result several units were captured and studies by the empire who noted the efficient construction, powerful armament, and unique shielding on the legs that prevented ion-based weaponry from toppling the walker. Though they also found its primary weakness: its heat output. with such a powerful reactor driving such a comparatively thin walker design the Bolraida had to cram nearly all the heat dissipators to the rear of the cabin in order to preserve armor integrity on the front. This meant even personal weaponry like sniper rifles or anti-tank blasters could damage these vents and force the walker to overheat and shut down. Thermal-seeking missiles could also specifically target this section of the vehicle and bring it down with much more reliability than the previous king of anti-walker weaponry: the ion cannon.
By the end of the GGW the Bolraida had found itself on nearly every front of the conflict and in the service of several Republic-aligned companies like Czerka and Blastech.
The name is largely made-up, but most of the rest of this walker is canon within the SWTOR games. The size is based off of the walkers on Oricon of the same design (the walkers more recently used in strongholds are 40% smaller and as a result cant fit a human inside the top hatch). The name comes from the Bolraida of Alderaan (just as the Manka-class troop transport, a known republic transport name, also comes from an Alderaanian beast.)
